Customer Trust

I'm going to be really brief with this week's message as I'm on a much needed vacation in sunny and warm Playa Del Carmen, MX. One of the areas I spend a lot of time training technicians in is the area of gaining trust with our customers. I've written recently about personalized service and enthusiasm. In fact, that's what this month’s done for you technician training video is about. If you don’t use our videos you’re missing out by the way .

As the lovely Christy and I are enjoying our time here in the Mexican Riviera, we chose to have an all day private tour with a local company. I train all the time that the front line team member is the most important brand that you have and that was reinforced tenfold this week from USA Transfers, and Sal my Pal.

We were greeted promptly on time by Salvador, who quickly became 'Sal my Pal' by his suggestion. He began asking us questions about our time here, our desires for the day and our reference points for this part of Mexico. He shared with us that his job was to provide us an incredible experience for the day and he could be better positioned to serve us if he knew a little about us.


Think about this when it comes to our service technicians and our own customers. Why do we begin to think service and sales is any different when it comes to our industry, our country, our customers, etc…
