Celebrating Your Win's For The Future
By Robin Stevens, Internal Operations Coach
This is one of the most wonderful times of the year. It brings family and friends together with love, laughter and joy. But, it’s also the time when many of us look back at the months and seasons now behind us and wonder: Where did the time go? Like it or not, another 12 months have zoomed by. And if it went by a little faster than you had planned and you did not get everything on your goal list done for 2013. Don’t fret, chances are you still accomplished a great deal, probably more than you are giving yourself credit for.
For some reason when people look back on a year they think of all the things they did not get done or did wrong. Instead take this time to think about all of your WINS no matter how big or small and write them down. You may even surprise yourself with all the great things you accomplished.
Remember, success is a journey. The reason that many people have a hard time getting “motivated” is that in the past, when they have achieved a goal, they didn’t celebrate the achievement. Many times, they down play the very success that they worked so hard to achieve.
Use this 2013 WIN list to celebrate and build momentum into new accomplishments for 2014. Once you can confidently say to yourself, “Hey, I did accomplish great things in 2013,” You will than accomplish so much more in 2014.
Make time before the end year, find a quiet room in the house and do the visualization exercise that Kenny did with us at Live Look. Close your eyes, take a few deep breaths and visualize what 2014 looks like for you, what does it feel like, visualize how you want to see your business and personal life in 2014, and then write down your vision. Visualization is very powerful in refining your self-image and making important changes in your life. See it, believe it, make it a goal and take action!!!
These visualizations are not New Year’s resolutions!!! THEY ARE GOALS!!!
Expand your awareness, move beyond old limitations and live the greatest life you deserve in 2014.
